combines brightness and
subtlety, in bold and calm moods,
with stimulating, satisfying colors.
Each piece is unique.  

Custom work is welcome, and can
be scaled or shaped to fit any
space.

Simple, low-cost frames or high-
quality framing are available.

Monique has developed a  
unique method of painting, using
industrial-strength enamels and
single-hair brushes.
This Houston-based fine artist began
painting in 2006, drawing on a rich
and varied background in jewelry
design. Her jewelry showcases
unorthodox materials, including
lighting gels, plumbing parts and
cogs from antique watches.

Gallery exhibitions include Earth
Gallery’s “Sacred Space in Everyday
Life” in March 2007; Inversion
(September 2007-present);  and  
Hungry's Gallery (August-September,  
2008), in addition to benefit events.
Her work also exhibits in the up-and-
coming
Green House Gallery in
Houston's Montrose district.

Monique’s professional background
includes translation, recruiting and
intelligence analysis. Her intelligence
expertise is focused on sub-Saharan
Africa. She also works in the field of
kidnap and ransom. She has lived in
Asia and traveled widely.
